Luís Vasconcelos

Luís, a Portuguese national, started his career as a banker with Crédit Lyonnais, moving on to Millennium BCP before a 16-year stint with Banco Espírito Santo as Executive Vice President in charge of the Portuguese diaspora markets. After the resolution of Banco Espírito Santo, Luís became the Country Manager in Portugal of Axia Ventures Group, the privately-owned investment banking group. From 2018 on, he has held a number of non-executive directorships, including property fund manager Imopolis, an investee of Värde Partners, and FundBox's private equity fund manager. Luís holds a BSc in Economics, Politics, and International Studies from Warwick University.
